Dr. Kathy Calvert:
Dr. Kathy Calvert started her medical career as a registered nurse. After 6 years of nursing, she went to veterinary school at Iowa State University where she received her D.V.M. in 1990. Dr. Calvert comes to LAH after 21 years in Lincoln. She is married to Jim Wiese, a proud mother to 6 children/step-children, and grandmother of 4. Dr. Calvert works at LAH with her brother, Dr. Tom Calvert. She enjoys pottery and reading in her free time.

Dr. Tom Calvert:
Dr. Tom Calvert graduated from Iowa State University Veterinary School in 1988. He practiced for 2 years in Indiana, and 3 years in Omaha before purchasing his first veterinary clinic in Norfolk, NE. After 17 years in Norfolk, he moved back to Omaha where he has joined his sister Dr. Kathy Calvert in practice at Loveland Animal Hospital. Dr. Tom also works part-time at the Offutt Air Force Base as a veterinarian for retired and active-duty military personel. He is married to Lisa Calvert and a father of two sons. He enjoys tennis, running, and reading in his spare time.

Lynsey:
Lynsey is a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University. She majored in Animal Science, specializing in companion animals with a minor in music. Lynsey joined the LAH team April 2009. She has two cats named Rolly and Hollee, 2 guinea pigs,4 bearded dragons, 2 red-footed tortoises, 2 parrotlets, and a husband named Kyle.

Pat, Groomer:
Pat is the groomer here at Loveland Animal Hospital. The oldest established grooming family in Omaha taught her their style of grooming and she remained with their business until they closed. The former owner, Dr. Perry, asked her to join his staff at Loveland Animal Hospital. When she came here she had many duties in addition to grooming including assisting the doctor. She remained with Dr. Perry until he retired, it was then that she met Dr. Detter and became a part of his staff at LAH, as well. Some of the breeds she enjoys working with the most are Scottish Terriers, Schnauzers, and other small terrier breeds, although she really enjoys all of her four legged friends!
